Glad I was out there working on the m5 or we would've lost some $$$ in stuff on the floor!

WOW. That's incredible. I'm sorry, that's going to be a PITA to clean up. If anyone you know has a turbo fan for a dyno (one of the small jet type ones) grab that, it will make cleanup significantly easier.

That sucks, how deep did the water get?
You can also send some of that rain our direction. All my grass is dying, due to no rain.

well it probably has a SLIGHT slope thats why it floods over, even with the drainage

It almost looks in the background that your land slopes down toward your driveway. If that is the case maybe that is a cause?

I think you should just make a mote around your house. Problem solved.

The driveway is sloped, but the drain looks like it filled up. I wasn't around, but from what I heard we had like 5" of rain in a short time which prob filled the drain up and backed up into the garage.

Yeah there is a deep drain, but it overflowed big time. We had about 6" of water in the garage.

That sucks! If it makes you feel any better our washer hose blew the other day and our first floor and basement flooded...so it could be worse!

Hope you get it all straightened out though...

Yeha, was no big deal. Not like it was in the house. I got everything off of the floor so it should dry out no problem :)

I don't know if anyone suggested this, but if you dug a mote around your house that would fix your flooding problems plus it would be awesome.
