Being Excelent at spelling.. hahahahah

honestly.. it's all about finacing... What you spend and what you save for tomorrow.. Money earned should be less than money spent... If at all possible stay away from credit... use only in emergencies.. then pay it off in less than a year... Owning things.. Less money going out for stupid stuff...

Think about it.. if you rent your paying what 1000 bucks on average a month.. then gas and electric, cable, internet, phone, water, soo on.. after 10 years. you are 0% closer to owner your home... Have fun spending your money..

Same thing for the car.. 300, 400 even 600 bucks a month for a car at the end of 5 years you finally own it.. which sucks cause that's about the time most cars start to have problems that need repair (average 12000 miles a year)...

It's all about how you make but more importantly how much you spend on stupid stuff and not upgrading your car... Gaming systems chew up a lot of that money.. on average families with one gaming console spend 700 a year.. if not buying games, renting them..

but the ramen noodles will make you hungry in like 10 minutes...Gotta drink a lot of water after that.. makes you feel full... and you would be amazed the cloths you can find in the thrift stores... no one will ever know the difference...

My little ass job, Help from my Turst account in taking out large personal loans against money in my trust then payin git back with my job so i dont actually loose my trust money and then keep a good majority of my trust money invested and with all of that you get your car and afford whatever most of the time.

I feel the same way for most purchases, except cars and real estate. Given the current interest rates, I'd rather invest $60K in real estate than buy an M3 in cash. All mods are paid in cash though :D

Can you at least wait until I pick up the downpipe and wideband o2 tomorrow?

hey gotbo0st
02-17-2005, 04:23 AM
downpipes are easily in my top 5 mods of all time
especially on a stock turbo 300zx, you can hear those turbos sing and the difference in spool up is amazing

Chris
02-17-2005, 09:28 AM
I just drove to school, and I'm giggling like a schoolgirl at the power my car is making right now. My turbo spools to 17psi by 2900rpms in the higher gears. The downpipe will make it spool even faster, it's going to be impressive.

Downpipes make my car sound ridiculous. Throaty, with even louder turbo woooooooosh.I'm really in like with my car right now.

You are right. I have not started fucking with the timing, yet. Right now, where it matters, I think it is at 28 degrees. Will probably move up to 29, soon.

It will be great when I get it running nice and lean, and I get some serious power out of it. I should be nice and tuned by mid March, I'm guessing.

Chris

My first instinct is to just say fuck it, and keep driving until it's done. But I figure getting there gradually will be satisfying, and better once I get there. Actually, you're right. I want it, and I want it now. I am going to free up some time this weekend and work on it. I just hope it's willing to cooperate with me, these things can be involved, sometimes.

Talk about involved, i had to take apart my fridge last night to switch the doors so they open the other way. What should have been a 15 min job tunred into an hour because the fuckers the put the doors on ended up putting glue on the end of the screws that hold the handle to the door so i ended up stripper the screws and then breaking off the handle. by the end of the hour i had it all done but with one less handle and a nice dent in the door from kicking it.

So I got the downpipe on, but now i'm getting boost creep. Figures it is difficult. I have to pull the turbo and port teh wastegate. Need to really get in there and open it up good. I'm hoping I can get in and out in a day. We'll see what happens.

It pays to invest...

Cut back on Beers/month cost
Having a girl friend costs a lot too, you don't need her. hahahahahaha

Tink bout it... Movies, Dinner, presents for all the times you did something wrong (forgot the two week aniversary), new cloths and shoes - gotta look good for the girl, Own place (living with mom gets old quick after 25.. hahahhaha)

Choose Wisely - the wrong choice will leave you and your ride all alone...

Just cut out breakfast and dinner and eat a late lunch around 4pm. Also go grocery shopping about once every three months. (you save big money)

If you are really smart, you would work at a food place like Domino's or Pizza Hut. You always have something to eat and you will get tips for deliveries.

Better yet "Valet Parking" Great money, you get to f*ck other people cars and you go home every night with $$$ cash in your pocket as well as a full belly from the food you that out of the back of restaurants.

Not that I have been thinking about this or something. Great College job!

And if you wanna save mortgage, try living out of an NSX :D

ARFNSX

Honestly it seems I had more money as a valet. I purchased my house when I was 23, got the NSX at 24 and Mercedes a few months later. All from a job as a valet parking. I started my parking company at 26 and it all seem to go down hill from there; (Just kidding!) but I am spending money like crazy now.

I know a lot of you will ask how in the world can you get a house, NSX and mercedes as a valet? Well the answer is easy... Valet Parking here in Atlanta is a pretty good job. You can figure if you work 4 night a week making between $200 -300 per night that averages out to $1000 per week tax free (shhhhh) also as a student. Houses are easy to purchase. With as little as 5% down you have a house so 5-10grand and there! With the NSX I saved for a half of a year there there is your NSX. I also make wise decisions with investing my money so the saying is true...it is not how much you make but how much you keep and what you do with it.

I miss my valeting day. I had more discretionary money then. Today I have budgets and all of this other stuff to meet now! You business owners know how it is!

How does Uncle Sam know that I am making $200-300 a night...are the people who are giving me the $3-5 tips per vehicle reporting that to the government? That is how is was tax free. I actually paid my taxes because I had to get the house and you had to prove to the government I had to money and the means to pay it.

. . .And you are right Sonya, I never really valeted, I was a dancer/stripper ....and if that was the case, $200-300 sucks. I must not have been very good.
