Thought i'd post this up here...definitely a VW Event Weekend not to be missed...went last year and had a blast...this year has way more going on and will soon be one of the best Event Weekend VW Shows on the East Coast--Aircooled & Watercooled!

WinterJAM is the first event of its kind in the USA. Its a 4 Day Volkswagen Lifestyle Festival. The
whole Weekend is planned with events that are geared towards the Volkswagen Community.
Events will include 3 Aircooled & Watercooled VW Shows, a Peformance Dyno Event & Burnout Contest,
a Navigational Rally, the Worlds Largest Indoor Cal Look Memorabilia Exhibit, VW & Surf Vendors,
2 Swap Meets, a Longboard Surf Contest, and a Skate Demo. Plus there's also 3 Themed Parties with
Live Music & tons of Great Food. This year will also host the 1st Annual Ms. WinterJAM Contest &
Special Guest MC Dyno Don! Not to forget the tots, we also have plenty in store for them on Sunday at the
Volks Jamboree. WinterJAM 2009 will have something for you! The 2009 Daytona WinterJam Weekend
sets out to be the biggest & best yet! Now in its third year, its definitely an event that's not to be missed..!

this show is going to be Hella-Cool....hope you guys are planning now to make your way down south in Feb...

i passed out a bunch of flyers at H2O and got a positive response from the vendors and the crowd....also kept getting asked if a cruise from this area down to Florida was being planned!!!

14 Events, 4 Days, Air & Watercooled, Surf Competition, Skate Expo and the list goes on....

I would love to make it down. My old roommate should be living in daytona beach by february as he is planning on moving down in January.

not sure if you guys are paying attention to the Vortex threads on Winter Jam, but there is a Road Rally that's being organized to the show in Feb....so far (roughly) i'm being told 50 cars so far that are interested in cruising down I95 with several stops along the way to pick up more cars.... :-)

well, it's happening and being planned...

another 1000 flyers were passed out at the VWFixx show in florida this past weekend, plus the 500 in the goody bags...
we passed out flyers at Etown this past sunday too...

Winter Jam will raise the bar for vw shows across the country....surf comp, skate expo, dyno, etc etc.....

it's in this month's Ultra VW, as well as be advertised in Longboard, TransWorld, Eurotuner, hotVWs, several others...not sure about PVW yet.

so if you travel for shows, this is truly one to attend in feb '09!

i'm either taking the 84' gli, the 92 cabby w/porsche fuchs, or the '07 Rabbit down to sunny florida...

i just got back from the st.augustine VW show this past weekend....and the wife and i are headed to the Keys next friday....

hope you guys are planning on cruising down in the rally!!!

i could be in for the show, i may be in miami at that time and driving back up to PA so if i am i will def stop by.

anybody on here planning on going to the show or being a part of the Snowball Rally down...i'm planning on driving the 07 Rabbit down

just drove the rabbit down to Key West in December for vacation with the wife!

it's going to be a great weekend!!!
