Going to paint the bike and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the color. I was thinking a mint green or a root beer type color...i dont know. Was looking at porsche greens and found Malachite Green Metallic that I think I like.

Plaid??? J/K I've seen the root beer color your talking about and would look good on a bike. What type of bike are you painting?

I have an 06 cbr600rr. Its all a high metallic silver now with black wheels. I want a solid color thats not flashy, just different.

If you could find that root beer color like they used on the 928, that would be sweet. I've never seen anything else with that color.

Satin white would be hot or maybe something you don't see every day like a flat but bright green would be cool. I just got my carbon fiber in too........;)

RSX looks good...I like that, kinda of a light olive color. Hey Dan, not yet really into the flat colors yet. They just look worn and I like my colors deep, crisp, clean, and new.

thats a sick car and a sick color +1 on that one

Pontiac on the grand ams one year released a brown pearl color called autumn sunset mist, its a deep brown color with a metallic flake. Personaly brown isnt a color for a car but theres somthing about that color thats amazing. My friend has a grand am in that color and i stopped in the college parking lot one day walking and found myself staring at it (before i knew it was his). Really a unique color, its rootbeer like.

Dun if you're confident with fiberglass and want to play around with some carbonfiber I've got plenty to play around with;)

lol I don't think overlaying a hood would be the best idea:-p besides I haven't even tried playing around with it yet, so it would be a disaster

anyway i found seibon hoods for you:

Fiberglass I can do but I dont know where to even start with carbonfiber. I'll look into it and see what it involves. FYI.....fiberglass is a MESS to work with, glad that project it over with.

if anyone needs carbon fiber wrapping/fiberglass work done hit me up
im not exactly local but i know what im doing when it comes to this stuff

1320vr4:
you would want to make a fiberglass hood first then carbon fiber wrap it. its not worth it to wrap a stock hood unless only doing it for looks.

It's not stretchy at all and I don't think we could do the tank very well... However with proper cuts we can wrap most parts.

we will need to practice on some basic flat-ish parts first but let me know when and where
