Well, I liked the Evo so much that I picked up a red Volvo S60 R today.

In case some of you didn't know what that is.

It's kind of like Chris's STi.... It's a 2.5L Turbo 300 HP 6 speed AWD sedan. But it's a little different. It's a 5 cylinder twin turbo. So it's a little different. His also weighs about 500 lbs. less than my car.

Some other mentionable features: 4 piston Brembos front and back, 18 inch pegasus wheels, a 13 piece speaker system, every piece of safety equipment made, awesome swedish goat leather, and snazzy blue dials 'n' shit.

Here are some generic pictures. I'll have some up of mine soon.

Here's what mine looks like exactly to a T:

So my plans are to make the Evo an all out drag monster. And the S60R a sleeper that gets me around in luxury.

What do you guys think?

Awesome choice, I think. It took me for-ev-er to guess. The power this thing will make is pretty sick. I hope the drivetrain holds up. Can't wait to see what you do to the evo!@

Nice whip tom. Volvos of today are looking like Bimmers of yesterday, which is a good thing, because who only knows how ugly the next bimmer will look. Its a hot whip, hope you bring it next year.

Yes sir. Red is my favorite color. I really like it a lot. Totally different from the Evo. I will probably drive the Evo more around town. The power delivery on the Evo is hard and abrupt. The power delivery on the R is long and smooth. It's definitely a highway cruiser. Although, I raced a TSi with a 50 shot yesterday night and handed him his ass. LOL. He was emberassed.

Nice car.. Believe it's a single turbo though (albeit a big one :-)) -- stock anyway.. One of my best friends has a silver one with the factory body kit.. Drives nice, just seems to have an awful turning radius.. And, oddly enough, has some of the comfiest seats my ass has ever seen. Not mention the amazing stereo with the upgrade option..

Yes sir. 6 speed. And those seats are the most comfortable seats I have sat in. Although the Evo has more room in the back seat for some reason.

But yes it is a single turbo.

Sweet. More than 1 turbo on a 5-cyl would be useless.

Sweet car. The S60R is the first Volvo that lives up to the symbol on its grill since the P1800.
