I was wondering if anyone was going to the JGTC races in California on December 18-19? www.jgtcusa.com. This is the first time this race is being held in the US. I went to it in Japan a couple of years ago and it was one the best times I have every had in my life. I was also lucky enough to get a ride with Naoto Fujimoto in the Raybrig NSX on the Twin Rings track in Motegi Japan. What can I say but DAMN!

Let me know if anyone is going to go, I would like to meet up with some of you if you are there.

Well, I just bought my plane ticket to LA. I am flying in Friday and leaving on Monday. Let me know who is going and I will meet up with you. The NSX club of America is going to be there in a booth as well as Team International All Stars so parties are going to be everywhere.

Yes, where are ya'll staying? I am about 80% sure I will be in town for this event. I'll be flying into LAX, renting a car, the driving up and flying out of SFO after staying there for a few days.

I will be staying with my best friend in L.A. I use to goto school with her and I havent seen her since the Rally. Are you going to make it in?

Alicia and I just got an invite to this event with the editor of rides magazine.(yes I'm braging because my 30 something friends with kids don't get it) I am seriousley starting to consider it since some of you guys are going.
We will be at Hot Import Nights in Miami on dec. 11&12 if anyone is interested.

Come on Kelly and Alicia, you know you girls need to go! It will be a blast. I found out from the NSX Club that 94 NSXs and owners will be there to support the Raybring NSX racing. Poeple are going to be talking about this race for quite some time.
I need a break from all of this work anyway. People are so lazy that they valet park to goto the gym to work out, but without these people, I would be broke!

In the past 3 months, I've been to the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Upstate New York, Canada and Washington DC. I travel as much as possible, but twice in one week is stretchin it ;) I'll see what I can do. I'd really like to get out to this race, and then get back to San Francisco afterwards. btw the drifting challenge was Japan Vs. United States ... an American drifter got the 3rd place driving GTO beating the best drifters (Champions) in Japan. The judges said that the American team have been practicing for 12 months and the Japanese team have been practicing drifting for almost 15 years. so it is such an achievement for the American team

OMAR...thanks for a great time and picking me up and dropping me off at my friends house. Although it was only 35 miles away it took 2.5 hours to get there (Damn I HATE L.A. traffic) We had a blast up until my throat got really sore and the cold California desert wind came in forcing me to go home early in the evening.

None the less it was incredible. Car Show, Drifting, Kart Racing, Auto-X, vendors, name it and this race had it. It was amazing to see all of the teams over from Japan and a few few Germany. As well as the Ferrari giving rides to passengers until some silly Nissan Sentra ran into the back of him. I met a lot of nice people and had a great time dispite me running out of throat drops. I am going to edit the video this week and try to get some of this posted real soon.

Anywayz Happy Holiday everyone! I am off to NYC tomorrow to spend the holiday with my family...I might even see Sonya while I am there ;-) Take all

the Infiniti G35 Coupe section wasnt good enough. The 350Z dominated qualifications although the NSX took first and second at the end of the 200 mile race. Must the Z take everything by storm? They need to save something for the little guys ;-)

no, the Z car has dominated competition since its introduction over 30 years ago. You would think that everyone would be used to it by now... but for the most part they seem to be overlooked until competition starts.
