we're meeting off of exit 7 to gather then the caravan is heading out at 9am from there to head to the show.

check the samba thread on it....

we're hoping to have a both a watercooled and aircooled caravan heading to the show...

ehhh, i am trying to get there at 8 to set up. so i prob won't make the cruise.

damn we are in disney this year... i love these shows 2!!!

well just got back...

run1- 12.0 @115 on 10psi ~.8bar (running off wastegates)
run2- 12.1 @ 114 on 10psi ~.8bar (running off wastegates)
run3- up boost to 1.5bar at 50%duty burnout in 2nd, stage, launch, nothing happens. broke and axle.

now i need some stage 4 or 5 instead of the driveshaft shop stage 2's.

need to hit a trackday so i can get into the damn 10s.

that sucks, looks like it was close to the rt1 exit or rt13 exit so hopefully it was a short horrible ride home. what happened?

Yea, it looks like my cat clogged up, forced all the heat and pressure from the exhaust right out where the downpipe and manifold meet, blew that gasket and all the heat melted the surronding vac lines and tourched a couple wires so the car wouldnt even hold an idle. Minor problems, but a big pain in the ass to fix....I swapped in my gti manifold, dual downpipe and TT cat back but being ass the car is automatic (soon to be semi-built 16v 5spd) and was the single downpipe setup it was just a long knuckle-busting night, plus I had to strip the gti first lol. A few fellow dubbers stopped by to help, but there was nothing they could do, hopefully the show was a good turnout though!
