I know the majority of the members on this forum lean more towards the Japanese and European cars. However for the '05 Roush Mustang, as Ali G says "Much respect".

HEMI?? Meaning hemi-spherical head engine? I thought Chrysler is the only one to have hemi engines. Please explain?

back in '69 you could get a boss 429, it was a semi hemi.

Im trying to convince a friend of mine to register and do the rally with his 05 gt mustang. It's already taken apart and motor been sent out. Having interior work done with lambo doors already installed. He should have the car done by march and broken in by june. Hopefully he'll be able to do the rally. It's going to be a sick looking car. Even though, yes we see 3-4 of them a day being driven by rednecks... but car still looks good to me.

A few grand in a carb'ed muscle car will go a looong way. Header back exhaust, K&N air filter, bigger carbs, inake manifold, distributor, plugs, wires, radiator, suspension, wheels and tires. That would proably take around $2,000 from Jegs and set you up with some torq thrust II's.

Fast with class? What a load. No leather, minimal power options, T-tops,etc.
A fully loaded SC - Full leather interior, dual power seats with lumbar, power moon roof, automatic lights, tilt wheel, CD, Air, power locks, power windows...should I continue?
I thought about a GN...it's more muscle than an SC was...but as for the class comment, it doesn't come close. And comparitively, the SC's and GN's were very close in HP and Torque...

Remember this was back in the early to late 80's. The cars came with leather untill 1986, power seats were optional, all have tilt wheel, moon roof or t-tops were optional, all had air, power locks and windows were optional but almost every GN has them. Auto lights and CD's weren't around back then. I would say that it has class, especially for an 80's american car. Mine has pw/pl, rear defrost, concert sound stereo, tilt wheel, a/c, electric trunk pop, remote mirror's control, and a cigarette lighter (not all new cars have those).
Here are some fun facts for the GN. BTW: the power ratings were a bit under-rated.
Production: Grand Nationals: 20,193 GNX: 547
Engines: Grand National: 3.8L V6 Turbo 245 bhp @ 4400 rpm, 355 ft-lb @ 2000 rpm. GNX: 3.8L V6 Turbo 276 bhp @ 4400 rpm, 360 ft-lb @ 3000 rpm.
Performance: Grand National: 1/4 mile in 14.23 seconds @ 98 mph. GNX: 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 13.43 seconds @ 103 mph.

Sony sucks, they keep delaying every game and game system
Just one more reason why Nintendo>all
Nintendo usually releases its products BEFORE the stated release date
Tw!NTuRb0
01-08-2005, 06:03 PM
True, sony is very slow in releasing their products especially if its comming from japan. Japan is still a power country as far as world trading goes becase more stuff comes outa japan than the stuff that goes in especially cars and electronics, which is why many countries have debts with japan. They also limit on what they export out.
Nintendo is pathetic if you want a real system get an XBOX. Its like a computer only better and its like 200bucks fully loaded with XBOX live. PS2 Is ok but if your going to buy one now, dont buy this new slimmer looking one because it dosent have online functions, it over heats and it dosent have a hard drive.
I guess in the long run patience is a virtue.
hey gotbo0st
01-08-2005, 06:18 PM
Nintendo is pathetic?? Please tell me how?
They are a front runner in the gaming industry, they ALWAYS make their release dates, their games are by far the most fun to play. Nintendo is a gigantic company, right up there in profits with microsoft and sony, and all nintendo does is games while microsoft and sony obviously have many other things going on.
Xbox is pathetic all they have is Halo and Halo 2.
Tw!NTuRb0

Those games sucked, you want some real good games? Lets talk Resident Evil, how about the entire Mario series? Want old school? How bout some Contra, Megaman, Metroid, Donkey Kong and Bubble Bobble. Xbox cant touch shit.

GT4 is coming out for ps2 soon and its looking pretty damn good. I have Need for speed underground and its along the same lines but im sure GT4 will blow that away.
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 05:31 PM
yeah i have under ground two its pretty addictive, ecspecially the url section, i guess they wanted to make it a little more like grand turismo
poorboy
01-16-2005, 05:34 PM
yeah but the urls are pretty easy if you ask me, im on the 2nd or 3rd level and im having trouble in the drift races. pain in the ass.
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 05:37 PM
the trick is to let the other cars get like 4 secs. ahead of you, than drop it back in neutrul and drop the clutch. Whats becomes a reall pain in the ass is the downhill drifting that takes a while, im using an audi tt maxed out
poorboy
01-16-2005, 05:41 PM
I still use the first car i got in the begining of the game, im pretty sure its the toyota, I have every mod you can get on it but am just saving up all the money I win for a better car when it becomes unlocked. Did you know what you can unlock a lot of stuff by doing the outrun contests.
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 05:42 PM
yeah ive unlocked every upgrade ive done like 53% of the game
poorboy
01-16-2005, 05:46 PM
oh ok yeah im not that far, i had to take a break from that game and catch up on some GTA
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 05:47 PM

poorboy
01-16-2005, 05:50 PM

pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 05:51 PM

poorboy
01-16-2005, 05:54 PM
my friends brother and his friends played the game round the clock till they beat it, they took turns playing it till it was done, non stop playing one of them were always on it. NERDS

IT Is an addictive game, but i only put like 3, or four hours a day into it, i need to find something to fix the disk, dont feel like blowing 50 bucks to buy another copy of a game that i already own.
diablesse
01-16-2005, 05:57 PM
I confess, I couldn't stop playing NFSU. Iplayed for hours everyday till I beat the game. Sad thing is, I don't even like vids.
well except for kareoke for xbox.
poorboy
01-16-2005, 05:57 PM
did it just get scratched or something worse?
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 05:59 PM
it got like deep scratched but only on near the rim i think it was right in the load path, the game spools up and runs but like five miniuites in it gives you disk read error
poorboy
01-16-2005, 06:03 PM
maybe putting it through a disk cleaner or something may help but if its nicked or anything you are pretty much fucked.
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 06:05 PM
i wonder if like the disk dr. thing is worth looking at
poorboy
01-16-2005, 06:12 PM
yeah but if thats the case then your looking at spending more money for a new ps2
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 06:13 PM
the ps2 works just the game is screwed up
poorboy
01-16-2005, 06:17 PM
oh well if you almost beat it then who cares, im sure you can get a ppg (previous played game) for cheap if you really wanted to beat it.
pandaspeed
01-16-2005, 06:18 PM
yeah thats what im thinking wait until summer and buuy one off Electronic Boutique, thats how i got grand turismo
poorboy
01-16-2005, 06:20 PM
