I spoke to Ross and he said his house was about 8 feet underwater. He is here in Atlanta and I will probably meet with him for lunch tomorrow. He doesnt know when he might be going home. He is planning on staying here for about a month until things are back up to par.

I will keep you guys updated.

That is insane!!! Tell him we wish him the best of luck.
At least he doesn't have to work for a month, although i am sure the stress and loss of property is not worth the vacation.

What are all of these residents going to do for income during this month? I can't imagine flood insurance would cover lost wages. Would an employer's insurance cover it? This really blows for the residents

Watching the news tonight, I understand that evacuating all of New Orleans has been proposed. Apparently one of the Levees has some damage to it, and may break, flooding the area with even more water.

Thanks, I went up to take photos from the airport I learned how to fly at. I wish I learned how to fly that one though but they kept bitching about liability.
