are the rallies usually in the summer? when do you start planning? might just have to go on one to see what its all about!

They are normally in the later part of the summer.
They are still super busy with planning the rally this year to even think about the rally for next year. They will start thinking about it this winter, around the first of the year.

planning for the next rally occurs after this years rally is done.

The route announcement for the 2009 rally occured publically March 6th, 2009. So don't plan on an update on the 2010 rally until its at least 2010
