Default 205mph speeding ticket

Prety crazy, but are we really trusting a cop, with a stopwatch, in a helicopter to have good enough reflexes to accurately vascar at that speed? Either way, it should make for an interesting court case. I bet a decent lawyer can get it thrown out.

Holy shit! Nice! At least if you are the guy with the ticket you get mad bragging rights. Not only did you get a ticket at 205 but it made the papers all over the country. Must say I would be pretty stoked! But then again, I was laughing when I wrecked the M3!!!!

seems like a good lawyer would definately be in order. 205 is no joke though. nice job biker, wish it was in a car. that would impress me more.

the highest MPH i have ever got out of, well was on the rally....
I remember chasing a drop top M3(i think it was you guys), come around a turn and there are 2 troopers there...
Long story short he said i was at 160+, then wrote me up for a 77 in a 70....
I can see that ticket getting throw away just because it made national news...It think if it had been kept quite, he would be fvcked....

You were chasing alicia and I. That whole situation was messed up. The cop said he got me at 77 in a 70. Then came back with a ticket for 79. I think they were enjoying some fired dough and coffee, and had no clue to anything other than the fact that we were speeding. How fast were we going? Well we were in traffic but I'm sure we were much faster than 77 but nowhere near 160 at that point. I understand that other drivers were calling us in to the police. Actualy that is the only time I have gotten a speeding ticket in the past 12 times I have gotten pulled over so I'm not complaining.

^^^ I hate you. I just got a ticket for not using my blinker. WTF is the world coming to when you can "rally" across the country and not get a ticket, but when driveing normal you get busted? This is why no-one likes cops.

This may be old news, but the person in question has responded on a sportbike message board on the net.. His bike was an RC51 with very minor mods, capable of about 170MPH at best. He is contesting the citation and probably has won the battle by now..

haha, and I'm sure since everyone has their speedos calibrated regularly and has stock tire and wheel sizes the readings on those speedos might acutally be accurate.

come on now, we had this discussion already
