I passed exactly 4 cars, all riding the right lane; 2 random cars before I was really speeding, and 2 other Corvettes doing the run and also driving fast. No, there isn't. I calibrated the speedometer using HP Tuners so it is spot on with my GPS at 100MPH (it read 3MPH low beforehand), and the needle was pegged at "200" with me still on the gas and the RPMs climbing slightly for another 10 seconds or so, which is why I am reasonably sure it was in fact doing over 200, but you're right, this isn't scientific evidence. I never said it was, I was just really happy to finally max out the speedo in the car; it has been one of my main goals for this build since I started it almost 2 years ago, and I finally pulled it off. Just sharing the video since I know a lot of us like to go fast and would appreciate a good high speed run like this. But you don't have to believe it if you don't want to... I wish the GPS unit on my car had a peak speed hold, but it doesn't.

I really don't care if you passed two other corvette drivers doing the same run, you are still a fool. Virtually empty < empty. So yea, it was a good job on my part for calling a moron a moron. Yes they were. You weren't there, so on what authority do you think you can say that? Just ask anyone who was. Every single onramp was blocked off by a police car before the run began. The only cars on the road were cars that came from the plaza where the run began, or cars that got on the road before the plaza. This made the run almost exclusively Corvettes-only, with LOTS of room.

Nice run.
I went for 200 earlier this month, but my passenger window popped off its rail at 180 and I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from. So I backed off.

Unlike a BMW or Corvette my car has zero creature comoforts (well if you include the great windows), no fit and finish, and it does everything in its power to kill me. So the runs are interesting.
