1998 AM General Hummer Open Top (HMCO):
Last year for BTM off road system, first year for upgraded interior. Most coveted year by Hummer enthusiasts.
The truck is in the first Azimuth magazine for 2010.
My mother is the original owner, I purchased it from her in '08. However, I have driven and taken care of the truck since new. All major service has been performed at certified Hummer dealers.
The truck is always garaged.

In 2009 it was restored, with over $20,000 invested into the truck. Basically, this is a new 1998 Hummer. It is in better condition than many trucks were new.

This is the only Matte Black Turbo Diesel Open Top H1. The paint is PPG matte black. Jason Burns painted the truck, he has done such vehicles as Rob Dyrdek's/Rouge Status '69 Camaro; Camaro's for the upcoming Nic Cage movie; a Ford Taurus for Ford's booth at 2010 SEMA show; '10 Camaro for 2010 SEMA.

Maintenance; many trucks for sale require $10,000-20,000 in maintenance, this truck needs zero. It has always had maintenance taken care of before it was needed. All parts replaced are with oem AMG equipment. Many H1 owners are afraid of taking their trucks outside the city. I frequently take my truck on 500+ mile trips (often to Michigan's northern peninsula). Many owners are afraid to go over 60mph. I frequently drive the truck between 75-80mph, but often keep it at 65-70mph for better fuel economy.

Right Rear half shaft replaced; not broken but corrosion along seal wouldn't allow for a tight seal.

To give credit to how reliable the truck is, I took it on a 3,000 mile roadtrip from 6pm friday night to 7:30am monday. Nothing broke, never went above 200 degrees, oil pressure was great, a/c kept me cool, and was between 70-77mph with a peak speed of 82mph. Dealt with massive rain storms, Texas heat, and lots of bugs. Even slept in it friday night.

I really need to change my automotive stable up. So if you or anyone you may know are interested in the truck, please contact me. I am flexible on the price, but would really like to get $50k for it.

I am also open to certain trades; 911 turbo/c4s (996/997), E60 M5, '08+ M3, AMG E series, G wagon, '07+ Cayenne turbo, '08+ Z06 . Or if anyone has an '04-'06 Gallardo or '03 Murci that wants the truck and cash, it would be preferred.
